Senior Software Engineer

Located in Tampa, Florida, Taurus, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join on site. The role emphasizes designing, building, and maintaining high quality software, shaping system architecture, implementing back end services, and driving performance improvements, with code reviews and collaboration across cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable system architecture
• Implement and maintain back-end services
• Write, test, and review clean, efficient code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions

Requirements

• U.S. citizen due to Federal Contract
• Employment contingent upon FEMA approval, including a federal background check and the ability to obtain a federal badge
• Strong foundation in Computer Science
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Programming, with emphasis on Laravel PHP
• Hands-on experience with Laravel queues
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field

Compensation

Starting range: USD 70,000 – USD 150,000 per year; Based on experience
