Senior Software Engineer

This Senior Software Engineer role at Arivo Acceptance LLC reports to the Software Engineering Manager and focuses on building reliable software for a distributed architecture. Role and Reporting

The Senior Software Engineer reports to the Software Engineering Manager. The role includes contributing to architectural design and planning, participating in scrum ceremonies and project planning, and mentoring other engineers through formal and informal training.

Key Responsibilities

• Write high quality, tested, and monitorable GoLang for a distributed architecture
• Collaborate with third party vendors and users to develop a resilient system
• Provide code reviews and constructive feedback to other engineers
• Enforce and contribute to code standards and other best practices
• Contribute to architectural design and planning
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and project planning
• Mentor others and provide formal and informal training for other engineers

Requirements

• Applicants must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S., have a valid driver license, and maintain a professional appearance
• Hold a BS degree in a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and/or work experience
• Ability to assume on-call responsibilities on rare occasions
• Experience with GoLang and MySQL is preferred
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and front end frameworks, especially VueJS, is a plus

Compensation

USD 117,000 - 140,000 per year.

Minimum experience: 5 years. Education: BS degree in a related technical discipline.
