Senior Software Engineer

Y&L Consulting is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support on-site client engagements in San Antonio, TX and across the United States. This role focuses on designing, analyzing, and delivering software solutions across multiple environments, including database, web, network management, and SAP-related activities.

Salary

• USD 90,000 - 120,000 per year

Role Summary

The Senior Software Engineer provides consulting for the design, analysis, and development of software applications in varied environments. Work includes database development and administration, e-commerce and web development, network management systems, and SAP development and Quality Assurance/testing-related support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site consulting in the design, analysis, and development of software applications for systems operating in varied environments
• Perform development and administration using Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server
• Develop e-commerce and web applications using Microsoft, Java, J2EE, and related technologies
• Develop and administer network management systems
• Support functional, technical, and basis development activities in SAP, along with Quality Assurance and Testing work in related modules

Required Qualifications

• Master’s or equivalent in Engineering/Computer Science/IT/Bus. Adm./Mathematics/Science or closely related
• 2 years of experience demonstrating skills in the described duties
• Ability to travel to client sites in the United States for approximately 40% of the role
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience will be acceptable
