The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will help shape the architecture of scalable AI and machine learning systems, including agentic workflows, in a hybrid role based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position focuses on building and deploying advanced AI models and retrieval systems for a highly regulated professional-services environment.

Role Overview

Define and evolve the technical foundation for large-scale AI/ML capabilities, spanning model development, retrieval systems, and enterprise workflows. Work with engineering partners to ensure solutions are designed for scalability and security in regulated use cases.

Responsibilities

Build and deploy advanced AI and machine learning models supporting professional research tools
Design and improve large-scale distributed machine learning systems and enterprise platforms
Develop and integrate agent-based AI workflows and retrieval systems
Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver AI solutions that meet scalability and security requirements

Strong experience with AI/ML and agentic workflows
Strong experience with LLM and RAG architecture
Experience with vector databases
Exposure to MLOps
Proficiency with Python
Exposure to AWS and Kubernetes
