Senior Golang Backend Developer

Experis is seeking a Senior Golang Backend Developer to design, build, test, and maintain scalable backend services. The role focuses on developing RESTful APIs and gRPC services, supporting distributed systems, and working closely with teams integrating databases, cloud platforms, and third-party APIs. This onsite position is located in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Go (Golang).
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and microservice-based applications.
• Develop high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems with a focus on reliability.
• Implement concurrent and asynchronous processing using goroutines and channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with databases, cloud platforms, and third-party APIs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Go (Golang) and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with API development, including RESTful APIs and gRPC.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems design.
• Familiarity with Git and development pipelines such as CI/CD.
• Experience working with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
