Senior Data Engineer -Python and AWS

Infosys is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in West Palm Beach, FL, with an onsite work arrangement. In this role as a Technology Consultant 2, you will support software application delivery across the full lifecycle, spanning requirements, design, coding, testing, production issue resolution, and documentation.

You will contribute to planning and build-out work for software solutions, partnering with the team to translate business needs into technical outcomes while maintaining stability and quality. The work also includes knowledge capture through thorough records of code and testing activities to support future projects.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements elicitation by documenting assigned portions of business requirements according to provided guidance.
• Participate in application design discussions and document design decisions to guide the technical team.
• Contribute to coding efforts by integrating new features or updates into existing applications while focusing on system stability.
• Perform code reviews, implement code changes, and maintain code repositories.
• Develop test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
• Create user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to support smooth transitions to new applications.
• Participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing methods, and support activities to expand the knowledge base for similar projects.
