Senior C# Developer (ISA)

SCRAM Systems is seeking a Senior C# Developer to join LifeSafer's team onsite in Durham, NC. This role centers on designing, building, and maintaining internal reporting solutions with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, and LifeSafer's custom reporting framework. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server based reporting solutions using advanced SQL and C#
• Build and optimize stored procedures, views, and supporting database objects for reporting and analytics
• Develop and maintain SSRS reports with automated delivery through scheduled subscriptions and PDF or email distribution, and integrate reports into internal and external web applications
• Implement reporting solutions using LifeSafer's custom internal reporting framework with SQL and C#
• Develop back and business layer reporting integrations to third party systems using C#
• Collaborate with other development teams to integrate reporting data into application workflows
• Analyze large datasets to support compliance, operations, and business decision making
• Execute advanced ad hoc and investigative queries for both technical and non technical stakeholders
• Ensure reporting accuracy, performance, scalability, and long term maintainability
• Troubleshoot performance issues related to queries, reports, and data pipelines
• Review and improve existing reporting solutions, queries, and database designs
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and analysts
• Engage in architectural discussions related to data access, reporting strategy, and system evolution

Requirements

• Advanced queries including CTEs, window functions, indexing strategies, and performance tuning
• Strong familiarity with .NET, C#, and integration with reporting packages
• Extensive experience developing SSRS reports, including parameterized reports and automated delivery
• Proven experience building or working within custom reporting frameworks or data platforms
• Solid understanding of relational data modeling and reporting oriented schema design
• Ability to independently own and deliver complex reporting initiatives end to end
• Experience supporting large, business critical reporting systems
• Familiarity with regulated or compliance driven environments
• Experience mentoring junior developers or acting as a technical lead
• Exposure to performance monitoring and optimization of high volume reporting workloads
• 8+ years of professional C# development experience
• 5+ years of professional SQL development experience
• SQL Server 2016 or later strongly preferred
• Experience collaborating with application developers, particularly in C# / .NET
