Job Description

Build and maintain mission-critical data workflows for a financial services client as a Senior SQL Developer with Experis. This hybrid role supports a Data Integrations, Workflows and Reporting team, with opportunities to develop and improve SQL-based integrations, SSRS reporting, and Snowflake data loads while working closely with Scrum teams and stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Own the development lifecycle for small projects, including coding, maintenance, and bug fixes for data integrations, SSRS reports, and Snowflake data loads.
  • Deliver ad-hoc development needs by building integration feeds, creating or updating SSRS reports, and supporting automation as business requirements evolve.
  • Maintain clear, effective communication with the Scrum Master, team members, sponsors, and other stakeholders to help keep priorities aligned.
  • Participate in daily standups and bi-weekly backlog grooming using Agile practices, either virtually via Microsoft Teams or in person.
  • Submit automation changes for peer review and change management before deployment to Production.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of application development experience with hands-on work supporting data and API integration projects.
  • Strong SQL skills, including experience writing SQL scripts.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with Agile Scrum boards.
  • Ability to work in the Baltimore office with at least 40% onsite and 60% remote. The role follows a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week in office.
  • Clear written and spoken communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
