Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Java development and enjoy guiding teams within an Agile environment. You will design, build, and maintain robust software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of software applications using Mendix, Java, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to collect requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Apply Agile methodologies to boost team productivity and project delivery.
• Utilize Jira for project tracking, issue management, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain front-end applications with JavaScript and back-end services using MS SQL.
• Work with XML for data interchange and configuration management.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in Mendix, and be willing to learn and implement them.

Mandatory Skills

• Proficient in Java programming and development.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
• Experience with Jira for project management and issue tracking.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript for front-end development.
• Familiarity with XML for data handling and configuration.
• Experience with MS SQL for database management and queries.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Mendix or a willingness to learn the platform.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and deployment strategies.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful software development projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Salary

Salary: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year.
