Job Description
DB Services is seeking a Salesforce Non-Profit Developer to advance nonprofit-focused development and client delivery. You will mentor peers and guide projects to successful outcomes, building nonprofit-grade Salesforce solutions with Nonprofit Cloud, NPSP, and integrated data architectures for mission-driven organizations. This on-site role is based in Indianapolis, IN, offering a competitive salary range aligned with experience and impact.

Salary: USD 65,000 - 85,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Mentor teammates and delegate work to Salesforce Developers and Consultants.
- Provide independent support across the full client portfolio, with particular depth on nonprofit accounts.
- Integrate Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud with external systems using REST APIs, OAuth, and JSON, leveraging middleware such as MuleSoft or n8n.
- Lead client meetings and internal delegation sessions as needed.
- Review colleagues' code and configurations to ensure quality and standards compliance.
- Collaborate with nonprofit clients to design features and develop estimates for fundraising, program management, and donor engagement needs.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Developers, and Consultants to design, implement, and maintain nonprofit-grade solutions of high quality.
- Create declarative solutions (Flows, Lightning Record Pages, Sharing Rules) and programmatic solutions (Apex, LWC, SOQL) tailored to nonprofit data models.
- Apply robust data modeling skills, including object relationships, schema design, and process documentation, with fluency in nonprofit structures (households, donations, campaigns, program enrollments).
- Utilize project management tools daily and communicate progress clearly in writing.
Requirements
- Proven ability to leverage AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development, debug complex problems, and deliver higher-quality solutions faster.
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with meaningful time supporting nonprofit organizations.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II or additional certifications strongly preferred.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Agentforce Nonprofit (Nonprofit Cloud) required; experience with Agentforce Education (Education Cloud) is a plus.
- Deep experience with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) required; familiarity with Education Data Architecture (EDA) is a plus.
- Understanding of nonprofit operations such as fundraising, grant management, volunteer or program management is a strong plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with a positive, solutions-first attitude.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data architecture and governor limits.
- Familiarity with Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- Ability to provide examples or references from past Salesforce work, ideally within the nonprofit sector.
- Familiarity with EOS methodology is a plus.
- Must reside in or plan to relocate to Indiana, Michigan, New York, Colorado, or Texas.
