We are seeking a Salesforce Developer who excels at translating client requirements into practical, scalable solutions. DB Services is a small company where you will work closely with a Salesforce architect or team lead and other developers and consultants, balancing deadlines and priorities across a diverse client portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura components, and Visualforce code on the Salesforce platform.
• Maintain and support Salesforce implementations of various shapes and sizes.
• Collaborate daily with a team that includes a Salesforce architect or team lead and other Salesforce consultants and developers.
• Develop using Salesforce DX in Visual Studio Code.
• Create unit tests for Apex, LWC, and Aura components.
• Integrate with third party APIs using Apex or JavaScript.
• Demo completed work during iteration meetings with customers.
• Apply best practices for pro code customizations to minimize technical debt.
• Recommend and implement low code customizations when more appropriate than pro code.
• Maintain Salesforce certifications and pursue new ones as you learn on the job.
• Write technical articles for dbservices.com.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience as a developer on the Salesforce platform or on another object oriented platform such as Java, .NET, or JavaScript.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM field.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and juggle multiple projects and accounts.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non technical audiences.
• Strong teamwork skills; daily collaboration with coworkers and customers to achieve business outcomes.
• Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills to derive optimal solutions from complex situations.
• Desire to learn and keep up with the latest Salesforce developments.
• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
