Senior Salesforce Developer

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support government-driven projects within the Salesforce platform in Holt, MI (onsite). This is a hands-on role focused on custom development, integrations, and automation, partnering with stakeholders to build solutions designed to scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Salesforce development best practices
• Develop and maintain Apex code, including triggers, batch jobs, queueable jobs, and scheduled processes
• Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support modern user experiences
• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and related technologies
• Develop automated business processes using Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, and Formula Fields

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience (in the US)
• Prior experience supporting a State/Government project
• Strong expertise with:
  • Apex Development (Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex)
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • SOQL/SOSL
  • Salesforce DX (SFDX)
  • REST and SOAP API integrations
  • Platform Events and Named Credentials
  • Salesforce Security Model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, OWD)
  • Salesforce Flows and process automation (including Validation Rules and Formula Fields)
  • Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform architecture
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
