Salesforce Developer

Contract Salesforce Developer role in Chicago, hybrid onsite, focused on a healthcare technology initiative with emphasis on Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Lightning Web Components.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deliver Salesforce solutions aligned to user stories and business needs.
• Develop and enhance applications using Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Lightning Web Components, Apex, and related technologies.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
• Create and execute unit tests, supporting QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Craft test cases from acceptance criteria and document all development activities thoroughly.
• Demonstrate completed functionality during sprint reviews and seek approval from Product Owners.
• Deploy solutions across Development, QA, and UAT environments.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve defects promptly.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Uphold high standards for code quality, documentation, and deployment practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Proficiency with Salesforce Service Cloud
• Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud
• Strong work in Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Apex classes and triggers
• SOQL and SOSL
• Salesforce Flows
• REST and SOAP integrations
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
• Experience with Salesforce deployments and release management
• Solid understanding of Salesforce security, sharing rules, profiles, and permission sets
