Job Description

Alexander Technology Group is looking for a Power Platform Developer to design, build, and sustain scalable data and automation solutions. This onsite role in Burlington, MA centers on back-end data processing with SQL Server while delivering user-facing apps and workflows through the Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate with business and IT teams to translate requirements into resilient technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, tune, test, and maintain SQL Server solutions including stored procedures and complex queries
  • Improve performance of existing queries and long-running processes
  • Architect and integrate Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate) with Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Forms, and Teams
  • Implement data validation, transformation, monitoring, and error handling
  • Build and support SSIS packages using SQL Server Integration Services
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Document solutions and ensure data integrity, security, and maintainability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of SQL Server development and database programming experience
  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • 5+ years of experience with SSIS
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Knowledge of IT and business best practices
