PHP Developer
Job Description
We are seeking a PHP Developer to maintain and improve our ecommerce system and online store in Miami, onsite.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the ecommerce platform and online storefront.
- Implement responsive designs for the website.
- Bridge front-end components with server-side logic using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and related front-end technologies.
- Design and optimize MySQL database schemas and craft efficient SQL queries.
- Develop RESTful APIs to enable data exchange between our system and external marketplaces such as eBay.
- Develop new features and functionalities as requested.
- Upload product images to the system and manage media assets.
- Label and categorize products.
- Run errands outside the office.
Requirements
- Proven PHP development experience in a professional setting; familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Zend Framework is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL.
- Experience implementing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party web services.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Experience working with Docker containers and/or Vagrant virtual machines.
- Bi-lingual with fluency in English and Spanish.
