Green Wave Electronics is expanding its sales team with an ITAD Business Developer based onsite in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey. The role centers on securing new enterprise client relationships and transforming retired IT assets into recertified, affordable technology through the circular economy, all while reinforcing data security and environmental responsibility. The focus is to grow ITAD solutions within large enterprises, government agencies, and institutional buyers.
Location: Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ (onsite) | Compensation: USD 65,000 - 75,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Prospect daily via phone, email, social channels, events, trade shows, and other outreach methods to engage decision-makers including C-level executives, IT leaders, procurement teams, and security stakeholders.
- Execute sales strategies to identify, target, and win large enterprise accounts.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across IT, operations, procurement, and sustainability teams.
- Identify and respond to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs aligned with the ideal client profile.
- Manage sales activities and the pipeline within the company CRM.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal development and closing.
- Understand client needs and position Green Wave Electronics ITAD solutions as the best fit to support operational and sustainability goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including senior leadership, operations, and engineering, to design customized client solutions.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive offerings to position the company effectively in the marketplace.
- Travel as needed to meet prospects, clients, and attend industry events or trade shows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in ITAD sales, procurement, or related technology lifecycle services.
- Established relationships with decision-makers in medium to large enterprises responsible for hardware procurement, infrastructure deployments, and device lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated experience supporting hardware deployments, redeployments, IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), and depot repair services.
- Proven track record of high-performance sales with consistent year-over-year revenue growth.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a consultative sales mindset.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred (MBA a plus).
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
