Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and optimization of the Thermomix® Shopify storefront to deliver a premium, high‑performing shopping experience.
  • Design, build, and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Develop backend functionality, integrations, and custom solutions to support promotions, bundles, subscriptions, and field attribution.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and mobile‑first responsiveness across devices.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to design, implement, and iterate A/B tests that improve CVR, AOV, and engagement.
  • Analyze customer behavior with heatmaps, scroll tracking, and session recordings to identify friction points.
  • Continuously optimize speed, UX/UI, and content placement to enhance the end‑to‑end customer journey.
  • Drive measurable improvements in key KPIs including conversion rate, session duration, scroll depth, and bounce rate.
  • Partner with the Head of Customer & Digital Marketing to bring campaigns, promotions, and product launches to life on site.
  • Build and optimize landing pages for campaigns, product storytelling, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate implementation of pricing, bundles, promotions, and merchandising strategies.
  • Support tracking and analytics integrations (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, CRM tools) to enable performance measurement.
  • Enhance product pages to better communicate the value of Thermomix® and Cookidoo®, improving engagement and conversion.
  • Optimize site architecture, navigation, and content hierarchy to create a more intuitive user experience.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to bring culinary content, recipes, and storytelling to life digitally.
  • Ensure alignment with premium brand standards across all digital touchpoints.
  • Integrate and manage third‑party tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, email marketing, subscriptions, reviews, personalization tools).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the Shopify ecosystem.
  • Maintain clean, scalable code and ensure proper documentation and version control.
  • Stay up to date with Shopify platform updates, new features, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and report on site performance metrics including CVR, AOV, session duration, and engagement trends.
  • Partner with Marketing to prioritize and execute a roadmap of optimization initiatives.
  • Support the development of dashboards and reporting frameworks to track impact and inform decision‑making.
  • Foster a test‑and‑learn culture, continuously iterating to improve performance and user experience.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of Shopify development experience, Shopify Plus experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with Shopify APIs, custom app development, and third‑party integrations.
  • Familiarity with CRO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, A/B testing tools).
  • Experience working closely with marketing or growth teams.
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce UX/UI best practices and customer journey optimization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
