NetSuite Developer

This full-time NetSuite Developer role at FastTek Global in Troy, MI offers a hybrid work arrangement and a salary range of USD 60,000 - 110,000 per year. You will design and implement NetSuite customizations for both front-end and back-end components using TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL, leveraging NetSuite experience to deliver practical business solutions. The position emphasizes clear documentation, code quality, and teamwork, with tasks managed in Jira and a commitment to our DRIVEN values in support of the mission and vision.

Responsibilities

• Develop NetSuite customizations using TypeScript and SQL as defined in tasks assigned via Jira.
• Document code to provide context and scope.
• Test all code to ensure functionality and preserve existing behavior that could be affected.
• Track time spent on tasks and record it in Jira.
• Provide a summary of work performed with completion estimates.
• Create user documentation for the developed processes and functions related to the application.
• Contribute to other tasks that support development and application support.
• Adhere to the DRIVEN values and align practices with the organization’s mission and vision.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven NetSuite customization experience.
• Experience building modern TypeScript applications and familiarity with the modern DOM (HTML/CSS/JS).
• Experience with SQL in general, and at least one dialect; NetSuite uses Oracle SQL based on SQL-92, similar to MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Experience using Git as a version control system for managing projects.
• Experience with software quality, testing procedures, and building automation tools.
• Experience collaborating in source code controlled environments using Git.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• NetSuite experience is a plus.
