NetSuite Developer & Product Data Engineer
Job Description
Build and own the systems that turn messy supplier catalogs into accurate, validated product data across NetSuite and multiple marketplaces.
Responsibilities
- NetSuite development: write SuiteScript and SuiteQL, create saved searches, custom records and custom fields, and implement workflows so NetSuite becomes the system of record for product data
- Vendor data ingestion: collect, aggregate, and normalize supplier catalogs into clean, structured, trustworthy records
- Marketplace data operations: build and maintain product data feeds and syncs for Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and the company store; include validation and compliance checks to keep listings accurate
- Integrations and APIs: connect NetSuite, marketplace channels, and surrounding tooling so data moves reliably and no re-keying is required
- Own end-to-end priority feeds: take one priority supplier feed arriving today as inconsistent and half-trusted input, validate and transform it into publishing-ready records for every channel; repeat for the next supplier feed
Requirements
- Ability to cover both sides of the role:
- NetSuite development using SuiteScript
- Product-data engineering using SQL or SuiteQL, plus Python or a comparable language for data work
- Strong capability in one area and solid depth in the other, with willingness to deepen both over time with support
- Experience working with large, messy datasets with real volume and real stakes
- Ability to design data structures and integrations others can rely on and understand later
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no employment visa sponsorship available for this role
- On-site availability at the Webberville, Michigan location a few days per week, including quarterly company planning days
Technologies
- NetSuite, SuiteScript, SuiteQL, SQL, Python
- Amazon, eBay, Walmart
Benefits
- Benefits through ADP TotalSource: medical, dental and vision insurance
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Voluntary life and disability coverage
- Employee discount programs
- Competitive salary based on experience and scope owned, not salary history
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- NetSuite experience at a distributor, retailer, manufacturer, or ecommerce business, including integrations, imports, and production troubleshooting
- Experience with parts, fitment, or catalog data (ACES and PIES style data, OEM cross-references)
- Comfort using AI developer tooling (example: model-assisted code generation or automated test drafting) to speed up pipeline and script work
How AI Is Used
- AI is used daily where it is better than the alternative, similar to how SQL is used
- Agents run on real work across the catalog; the trustworthiness of outcomes depends on the data layer you build
- Work expectations include being able to put a model into a workflow and remove it when it starts making things up
The Split, and What You Own
- 50/50 role by design: about half NetSuite development, about half data engineering
- Routine item fixes and listing corrections stay with the listing team
- You build and own the underlying system: pipelines, records, validation, and integrations
- Focus on building it once, correctly, so it holds
