Information Systems Data Engineer

Loft Orbital Solutions is building the data foundation that supports day-to-day operations and decision-making across the business. As an Information Systems Data Engineer, you will design a centralized SQL Server data store, connect multiple business systems through reliable ETL pipelines, and deliver visibility through Power BI reporting, while also supporting NetSuite customization and data governance.

This onsite role is based in Golden, CO. The position offers a USD 90,000 - 130,000 yearly salary and is intended for candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain a centralized SQL Server database and the data model that connects Loft’s business systems
• Develop and operate Python/SQL ETL pipelines from systems including NetSuite, Arena, ION, Jira, and other sources
• Manage ETL code in GitLab with CI/CD
• Create Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor operational performance and KPIs
• Support and extend NetSuite customizations, including SuiteScripts, workflows, and saved searches
• Work with Operations, Finance, Engineering, and IT to gather requirements and deliver integrations and data tools
• Document systems and data flows while promoting data quality, governance, and change control

Key Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, business systems, or a related technical role
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data processing
• Hands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD processes
• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
• Strong SQL skills, including relational database design and management
• Clear communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or an equivalent professional experience
