Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain tailored NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript across versions 1.0, 2.0, and 2.1, along with SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteTalk.
  • Set up and support core NetSuite capabilities, including records, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, custom forms, and role-based access control.
  • Build and manage PDF and HTML transaction templates with FreeMarker.
  • Configure manufacturing features such as units of measure, BOMs, work orders, and inventory processes.
  • Design and maintain integrations between NetSuite and external systems via REST and SOAP APIs, middleware, and EDI.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and assist with NetSuite upgrades and release testing.
  • Document customizations, workflows, integrations, and system configurations for ongoing clarity.
  • Identify automation opportunities to boost operational efficiency across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • Three or more years of hands-on NetSuite development experience.
  • NetSuite SuiteFoundation Certification.
  • Strong proficiency with SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteTalk using REST or SOAP.
  • Experience creating FreeMarker based PDF and HTML templates.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite records, workflows, saved searches, custom records, and security.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing processes, including units of measure, BOM, and work orders.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
