Responsibilities

• SDK Development: Create and maintain high-performance mobile SDKs for iOS and Android to securely communicate with smart locks via BLE and NFC.
• Proximity intelligence: Refine inside/outside detection algorithms to accurately determine user position relative to a lock.
• Secure credentialing: Implement tokenized access and digital key sharing with encryption and robust data protection.
• Partner collaboration: Support external engineering teams in integrating UniKey technology into their ecosystems.
• User experience: Design intuitive mobile interfaces that simplify managing multiple smart keys for everyday users.
• Cross-platform performance: Monitor and troubleshoot performance across a range of devices and OS versions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of native mobile development experience (Swift/Objective-C for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android).
• Deep understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy protocols and how mobile OSes handle background tasks and connectivity.
• Experience building SDKs or libraries that are consumed by other developers.
• Familiarity with mobile security best practices, including Keychain/Keystore management and OAuth.
• Proficiency with Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
