Mid Level Cloud Developer - Top SECRET - FULLY ONSITE
Job Description
Visual Soft, Inc is seeking a Mid Level Cloud DevOps Engineer for a Top Secret, fully onsite assignment in Huntsville, AL. The role centers on designing, automating, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps pipelines within a classified AWS environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and sustain cloud native infrastructure using AWS services and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Administer Linux-based systems to ensure high availability, security, and compliance.
- Develop automation scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for provisioning and monitoring.
- Configure networking components in AWS, including VPCs, IAM roles, security groups, and encryption policies.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevSecOps practices, improving release cycles and reliability.
- Monitor production systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools, and troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to support rapid delivery cycles.
- Support accreditation and compliance activities under DoD/IC security frameworks such as NIST, RMF, and FedRAMP.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizens with an active Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree with at least five years of experience.
- Deep expertise in AWS cloud services.
- Terraform experience for infrastructure as code.
- Linux system administration background.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proven track record building scalable, secure, and automated DevSecOps pipelines.
