Job Description
The Senior Data Engineer role at VISUAL SOFT, Inc supports a federal agency by building and delivering an advanced visual analytics application. The position focuses on analytics for desktop and web environments, efficient bulk analysis of relational information, and transforming structured and semi-structured data streams into actionable intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering tasks required to deliver an advanced visual analytic application, including developing data analytics for desktop and web-based visual analytic software.
- Enable bulk analysis of relational information using advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing, leveraging the specified open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies.
- Create an application capable of producing manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of structured and semi-structured data.
Requirements
- US citizenship with an active TOP SECRET clearance.
- TOP SECRET is required; the role is fully onsite.
- Bachelor’s degree.

Compensation
- Salary is based on experience and other qualifications.
- 1099 is available only for individuals not in a C2C scenario; checks are issued in the legal name.
