Job Description
VISUAL SOFT, INC offers fully onsite software development work in Huntsville, AL supporting a federal agency. If you want an Agile team environment and the opportunity to build and integrate web application capabilities, this mid-level role includes time off, benefits coverage for full-time employees, and retirement and profit-sharing options.
What you’ll do
- Customize or use various GOTS and COTS products as part of the development workflow
- Collaborate in a robust team environment while working on Agile-based delivery
- Support the presentation of data from structured and unstructured data stores by integrating Hadoop/MapReduce, database, or like repositories
- Learn to work with a stack that includes Java, AWS, Vue.js, Spring Boot, ElasticSearch, Apache TIKA, and Apache NiFi
What you’ll need
- Active TOP SECRET clearance is REQUIRED
- 5+ years of experience building web applications in an Agile development environment using: Java, AWS, Vue.js, Spring Boot, ElasticSearch, Apache TIKA, and Apache NiFi
- Experience with version control systems including GIT, SubVersion, or TFS
- Experience working with Oracle, mySQL, or other RDBMS
- Bachelor’s degree is REQUIRED
