Job Description
PwC's Managed Services - Data Engineer - Experienced Associate is a data and analytics role centered on building data driven solutions, constructing ETL pipelines, performing analytics, and supporting client engagements through BI tools and modern data architectures. This onsite position is located in Phoenix, AZ, with a yearly salary range of USD 63,000 to 140,000.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data driven solutions to optimize business performance and strengthen competitive advantage, covering data engineering and ETL tasks
- Apply advanced analytics to derive strategic insights that inform client decisions, including SQL optimization efforts
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to enable efficient data collection and analysis, leveraging DataStage
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards with business intelligence tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence and QlikView, working with DB2 and SQL Server data stores
- Collaborate with colleagues to gather and analyze data from multiple sources, identifying patterns and trends within star schemas and dimensional models
- Employ data architecture skills to design and sustain robust database management systems, including snowflake models
- Pursue continuous process improvements to enhance data quality and data integrity
- Support client engagements by listening to diverse perspectives and addressing needs in regulated environments
- Contribute to the development of business cases and market development strategies through data analysis and interpretation
- Adapt to a fast paced environment and take ownership of tasks to consistently deliver high quality work, including job scheduling and UNIX environments
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree is required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant roles
