Job Description

Build data warehouse and analytics solutions that support data consumption across the health system in Chicago.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver data warehouse and analytics solutions by ingesting, integrating, and curating data, administering systems, and publishing information for the health system
  • Use relational database skills, including SQL, to create queries and stored procedures
  • Collaborate with the Architecture team on the design and execution of solutions
  • Ensure new and existing data models and databases align with approved data architecture standards
  • Create, document, and communicate the integration approach for solution components
  • Define key solutions and ensure they are managed for user and cross-team consumption
  • Research and analyze business needs and product/service strategies to determine capabilities and propose solution alternatives
  • Assist with ETL design and development, including data analysis, source-to-target mapping, quality profiling, change data capture, and code performance
  • Evaluate data quality and interpret results clearly and concisely
  • Document all programming changes, design updates, system modifications, and associated maintenance

Requirements

  • 0 – 3+ years of experience querying, analyzing data, and/or data modeling/architecture
  • 0 – 3+ years developing and maintaining ETL / data pipelines (examples: Microsoft SSIS, Azure Data Factory)
  • Experience using SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting
  • Relational database knowledge, including the ability to create queries and stored procedures
  • Experience with reporting and data visualization tools: Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports, SSRS, etc.
  • 0 – 1 yrs advanced proficiency in Python, with demonstrated work experience building data solutions using Python
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field

Compensation and Location

  • Location: Chicago, IL (onsite)
  • Salary: USD 40 - 56 per hourly
  • Minimum experience: 3 years
