Job Description

Adidev Technologies Inc. is seeking entry to mid-level mobile developers to support client work by enhancing and debugging large-scale iOS and Android applications. This role is based in Jacksonville, FL (onsite) and may be offered as contract or W2, with relocation depending on client assignment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Enhance and debug large-scale mobile applications for one of Adidev Technologies Inc.’s well-known clients.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Java: 1-2 years experience
  • Kotlin: at least 1 year experience
  • Android SDK and strong understanding of different Android versions
  • Experience handling different screen sizes
  • Play Store publication: at least 1 application published, demonstrating familiarity with the process
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries for common tasks
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to back-end services
  • Comfortable working with Git and source control
  • Swift (1-2 years) and Objective-C (knowledge and hands-on) with Cocoa Touch
  • Experience with iOS frameworks including Core Data and Core Animation
  • Experience with design patterns such as MVC and Singleton
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting iOS applications to back-end services
  • Experience with third-party API integrations including Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter, GoogleDrive, Bluetooth, and Keychain
  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
  • Understanding of Apple design principles and interface guidelines
  • Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning using tools such as Instruments and Shark (depending on project needs)
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Ability to benchmark and optimize
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
  • Excellent written and oral communication, with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Willingness to relocate depending on client assignment
  • Ability to start as soon as possible
