Job Description

NavitasPartners is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to support and enhance the CLM Power BI platform within a financial services environment. This hybrid contract role in White Plains, NY concentrates on development, reporting, data integration, process optimization, and cross-functional project support, with an hourly rate between USD 70 and 75.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine Power BI dashboards, reports, and related reporting solutions.
  • Administer and support the CLM Power BI environment across multiple reporting domains.
  • Convert complex reporting requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Design reporting solutions that align with business needs and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and data controls.
  • Collaborate with CLM teams and stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Support the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, implementation, and post-go-live review.
  • Manage project timelines, documentation, and deliverables using JIRA and Confluence.
  • Maintain the Power BI Service environment and associated reporting infrastructure.
  • Oversee version control and deployment pipelines with GitLab and Azure DevOps.
  • Schedule and monitor batch jobs using Tidal.
  • Develop and maintain Snowflake and other database integration solutions.
  • Perform data migrations from source to target systems with validation and reconciliation.
  • Support audit requests and compliance-related inquiries.
  • Present project status, milestones, and updates to senior leadership.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years in IT compliance, business analysis, or related roles within financial services.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Power BI and integration solutions; essential capabilities include SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, Power BI, and tools for designing reporting mockups.
  • CLM knowledge: Deep understanding of contract lifecycle management practices and regulatory reporting standards.
  • Analytical ability: Strong problem-solving skills to translate business needs into technical requirements and resolve complex compliance issues.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
