Job Description
BEPC Inc is seeking a contract HFM Developer to join their Plano, Texas team on a hybrid basis. The role serves as the subject matter expert for Oracle HEPM and HFM applications, focusing on building and maintaining metadata and rules, generating HFR reports, and supporting SOX/ITGC controls within a financial consolidation environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the SME for Oracle HEPM HFM applications.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain HFM applications, metadata, and related tools.
- Write and refine custom HFM rules.
- Create and modify HFR reports and HFS files.
- Manage metadata including accounts, entities, and dimensions.
- Utilize SmartView for ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Develop technical business cases and system integration designs.
- Document current and future business processes (as-is and to-be).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define financial data and reporting requirements.
- Support user community through troubleshooting, reporting development, and training.
- Ensure proper transition of enhancements into production following change management procedures.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual system enhancements.
- Assist with SOX and ITGC compliance and audit support.
- Maintain and develop SOX and ITGC controls for financial consolidation and reporting systems.
- Facilitate business process design and redesign sessions.
- Improve Excel-based financial processes and internal controls.
- Develop integration patterns including OAuth2.0 grant types (Authorization Code with PKCE, Client Credentials).
- Implement access token validation, scopes, and claims-based controls.
- Design RBAC and ABAC entitlement models for granular access control.
- Deliver documentation, SDKs, and internal training.
- Mentor engineers and promote API development best practices.
- Contribute to enterprise architecture standards and technology innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5–6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle HFM.

- Experience with FDMEE, DRM, and batch scripting.
- Intermediate SQL skills.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools (HFR, SmartView, Data Visualizer).
- Agile methodology experience.
