4+ years of production full stack engineering using Node.js and React
Working experience with AWS
REST API design experience including real authentication and authorization
Depth with a relational or document database
Git-based workflow and code review habits
Comfort working on a small team with light process and high ownership
Experience breaking production at least once, with the ability to explain what was learned
Problem-solving approach that seeks help at hour three, not day three, when blocked
Competent use of AI coding tools: direct, verify, and review AI-assisted work
