Job Description
Adidev Technologies Inc is seeking an Entry to Mid Level iOS and Android developer for onsite work in Seattle, WA. The role supports the design, development, and long-term maintenance of large-scale applications for prominent clients, with mandatory relocation for assignments typically lasting 6 to 18 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance applications for either the iOS or Android platform.
- Focus on application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and implement new features.
- Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and maintain high code quality.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with clients.
- Provide accurate project milestones and timelines, including requirement gathering and planning for completion.
- Complete coding tests or challenges as required.
- Suggest improvements to existing applications.
- Maintain consistent communication through phone, text, and email.
- Deliver projects on time and communicate changes promptly.
- Maintain positive rapport with all clients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of MVC or MVVM software architectural patterns.
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with at least 1 year of experience.
- Published at least one application on the Play Store.
- Familiarity with the Android SDK, Android versions, and screen size adaptability.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Espresso and JUnit.
- Knowledge of mobile data storage using SQLite and Room.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for back-end integration.
- Comfortable working with GIT, SVN, and source control.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Innate work ethic and self-leadership skills.
- A portfolio featuring impactful application releases is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, with at least 1 year of experience.
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Coco touch, Combine, and Core Animation.
- Familiarity with design patterns including MVC and Singleton.
- Thorough understanding of offline storage, threading, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect iOS apps to back-end services.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs such as Facebook and Dropbox.
- Familiarity with UI/UX standards and Apple design principles.
- Knowledge of C-based libraries is preferred.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
- Proficiency in code versioning tools (for example, Git).
- Open to relocating to new cities or states based on client assignments (typically 6 to 18 months, with potential extensions).
