Digital Engineering Systems Developer (Creo)
Job Description
Hands-on Digital Engineering Systems Developer focused on PTC Creo, supporting CAD system operations, customization, and integration at the Y-12 National Security Complex. This on-site role requires an Active Q Clearance, with a 3-month plus 1-year option.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain PTC Creo suites, including Creo Parametric, CreoView, and Creo Illustrate
- Integrate Creo with Windchill and maintain core system functionality
- Tailor CAD tools through scripting or programming to align with organizational requirements
- Design and refine engineering workflows and adopt best practices
- Improve user interfaces and overall system usability to boost efficiency
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Creo users
- Support system upgrades and enhancements
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and IT teams
- Attend meetings and deliver status updates
Requirements
- Active Q clearance or equivalent eligibility for reciprocity
- Strong proficiency in Creo Parametric (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) with advanced modeling capabilities
- Experience with PTC product environments and integrations, Windchill experience preferred
- Ability to customize CAD tools via scripting or programming
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must reside in the Oak Ridge, TN area and be able to work on-site daily; relocation or travel reimbursement is not provided
