Certified LabVIEW Developer

Contract opportunity for a CLD certified LabVIEW Developer to design and implement data acquisition software for automated FAT testing onsite in Sunnyvale, CA, on a 12+ month engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LabVIEW based data acquisition software to support production FAT testing across multiple products and programs.
• Develop user manuals for test operators.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the software toolkit.
• Troubleshoot test software issues to restore operation promptly.
• Incorporate analytical tools and automated report generation into the test workflow.
• Create tools to support test preparation, post data analysis, issue tracking, and test performance metrics.
• Develop tools for test metrics trending with statistical analysis reports.
• Develop training curriculum and materials to train engineers on test stand LabVIEW programming, coding standards, and architectures.
• Lead the LabVIEW programming effort for test stand software used in FAT testing.
• Provide software maintenance, support, and future development.
• Collaborate with team members to assess data acquisition hardware and software requirements for upgraded or new DAS architecture.
• Ensure adherence to appropriate software standards and practices throughout the development process.
• Apply experience with NI PXI platform and PLCs to project work.
• Program Allen Bradley PLC ladder logic.

Requirements

• Experience developing test software using the LabVIEW programming language.
• NI LabVIEW Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) certification.
• Familiarity with PLC ladder logic programming and communication protocols, EtherNet/IP and Modbus.
• Minimum 5 years of related software development experience.
