Lab Automation Tooling Developer

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Lab Automation Tooling Developer to support the Device Layer Management (DLM) team’s lab automation ecosystem. In this hybrid role based in San Juan, PR, you’ll help maintain and improve web portal-based applications and service interfaces used across multiple engineering lab environments.

You will focus on building and sustaining RESTful microservices, providing application support for engineering labs within the Networking organization, and assisting Technical Support labs across HPE. The role also includes hands-on development work such as debugging and testing to keep the tooling reliable for a large internal audience.

What you’ll do

• Develop RESTful microservices to support lab automation tooling
• Maintain and enhance the lab automation suite of tools
• Provide application support and development for engineering labs in the Networking organization
• Support a number of Technical Support labs across HPE
• Develop, debug, and test web portal-based applications
• Support and contribute to a user base of 5K+ internal users

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Python (required)
• Experience developing AI applications (required)
• General computer networking understanding (required)
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
