Advanced Software Engineer - Test Systems

Work onsite in Phoenix, AZ and contribute to software that helps keep engine testing moving from development through production. Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for engine test systems, focused on building and maintaining tools for engine data acquisition and supporting testing operations when issues arise in the field.

What you will do

• Write software to support engine data acquisition for both Development and Production testing
• Maintain a variety of software tools as hardware and software upgrades are introduced
• Provide on-call support for engine testing to respond when systems fail in the field
• Assist with a range of software applications supporting test activities

What you bring

• Experience as a Software Engineer with a variety of software coding experience
• Broad programming skills across different areas of software development
• Good communication and mechanical skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting across a variety of roles

Role focus: You will develop and evolve software that supports engine testing operations, keep testing tools current through upgrades, and help ensure test systems remain reliable by stepping in when field failures occur.
