Responsibilities
- Design, train, test, deploy, and maintain end-to-end AI/ML systems so models perform reliably in production, not just in development.
- Define the direction of mission-critical solutions by selecting appropriate algorithms, architecting AI/ML pipelines, and applying contemporary MLOps practices.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, software engineers, and product owners to deliver world-class solutions.
- Provide technical leadership that helps clients navigate AI/ML toolchains, frameworks, and operational strategies.
- Contribute to real-world problem solving and shape AI/ML strategy for the Defense sector and beyond.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as an Artificial Intelligence/ML Engineer or Advanced Data Scientist.
- Experience deploying and integrating production-grade AI/ML models using Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Large Language Models, Deep Learning, or Reinforcement Learning, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, vLLM, and Ollama.
- Knowledge of MLOps principles and designing ML algorithms integrated into production systems.
- Ability to train, optimize, and integrate AI/ML algorithms across high-throughput text, image, or video data feeds.
- Secret clearance.

You have
- 4+ years of experience as an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer or Advanced Data Scientist
- Experience deploying and integrating production-grade AI/ML models using Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Deep Learning or Reinforcement Learning algorithms, along with TensorFlow, PyTorch, vLLM, and Ollama

Compensation
The compensation range for this role is 77,600 to 176,000 USD per year, with final figures determined by location, education, experience, and contract requirements. This range represents the typical salary for the position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.
