Job Description

InnoSource seeks a Data Engineer in Dublin, Ohio, onsite, to design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on Azure, partnering with stakeholders to ensure data quality and enable enterprise analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate robust, scalable data pipelines in Azure using services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.
Ingest and integrate data from diverse sources including APIs, databases, and files into centralized analytics repositories.
Develop and manage ETL and ELT workflows that transform raw data into clean, analytics-ready models aligned with business requirements.
Establish a microservices architecture that scales with business growth and AI capabilities.
Construct data pipelines that feed AI models with clean, structured logistics data.
Deploy real-time analytics engines powering predictive logistics capabilities.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance through validation, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to capture data requirements and align data assets with strategic needs.
Implement cost-efficient data engineering practices, optimizing performance while controlling cloud usage and storage costs.
Maintain and enhance a semantic data layer or curated datasets to support self-service BI with Power BI and advanced analytics.
Contribute to the architecture of the data platform, focusing on security, scalability, and performance best practices.
Automate data operations and deployment workflows using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code, including ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
Stay current with advancing Azure technologies and propose improvements to existing data workflows.
Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Proven experience building and managing data pipelines in Microsoft Azure environments.
Proficiency with tools such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, and Power BI integration.
Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and ELT/ETL patterns.
Experience working with APIs, JSON, and structured and unstructured data sources.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to define and deliver high-quality data solutions.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, set priorities, work with diverse teams, work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Logistics or supply chain experience preferred.
