Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
At T-Cetra LLC, this full-time Senior Software Engineer role offers a hybrid work arrangement in Dublin, Ohio, combining on-site collaboration with remote flexibility. You will help design, develop, and maintain software across APIs and applications within the IT Development team, while partnering with UX designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. The position also provides opportunities to mentor peers and influence engineering practices, contributing to a culture focused on quality and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Leverage deep technical expertise to design and build a range of software projects across APIs and applications.
- Help ensure software fulfills functional and nonfunctional requirements through active testing participation and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with internal guidelines and industry best practices.
- Contribute to team planning, tracking, and continuous improvement processes.
- Create and maintain scalable applications, APIs, and data models.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders to capture and refine project requirements.
- Contribute to deployments and provide ongoing support post release.
- Mentor engineers in coding standards and development processes to raise team capabilities and code quality.
- Leverage business and domain insight to deepen system understanding and inform effective solutions.
- Suggest improvements to practices and workflows to enhance quality and productivity.
- Review and authorize changes to the codebase.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Assess frameworks, technologies, platforms, and tooling options for suitability.
Requirements
- More than five years of hands-on experience designing and supporting software systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience designing and optimizing relational databases.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent credential.
