UX/UI Developer

Procentrix, Inc. is seeking a UX/UI Developer to help shape and deliver user experience and interface design standards across public-facing and internal applications. In this onsite role in Herndon, VA, you will partner with product management within Agile teams, applying Microsoft Cloud technologies to improve usability, accessibility, and visual design consistency.

Role focus

You will lead the approach and implementation of UI/UX standards and translate end-user needs into usable, accessible interface experiences. The work includes designing, delivering, and communicating creative solutions that address the unique requirements of the people using the product.

Responsibilities

• Approach and implement user experience and interface design standards for public-facing and internal business applications
• Collaborate with the product manager to align with the client’s vision and end-user needs
• Participate as an integrated member of Agile application development teams using Microsoft Cloud technologies including Power Platform, Dynamics, SharePoint, and Azure
• Optimize elements of the online user experience for improved usability, accessibility, and consistent high-quality visual design
• Design, deliver, and effectively communicate creative solutions that solve for the end-user’s needs

Qualifications

• BS and a minimum of 5 years of UI/UX design experience for digital products or services
• Strong knowledge of information architecture, design thinking, workflow design, and accessibility standards
• Working knowledge of prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD
• Working knowledge of user research methodologies and tools including user interviews, A/B testing, UserTesting.com, and Miro
• Ability to conduct user research and extract, document, and communicate meaningful user insights
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
• End-to-end product design experience
• Experience producing design artifacts and deliverables such as site maps, user journeys, user personas, wireframes, and high-fidelity clickable prototypes
• Knowledge of current front-end standards including HTML and CSS
• Ability to understand and communicate design to the project team
• Experience developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy
• Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and/or Azure DevOps
• Experience working within Agile Development Methodology

Compensation and eligibility

• Location: Herndon, VA (onsite)
• Salary: USD 120,000 - 145,000 per year
• Citizenship requirement: U.S. citizenship required to comply with applicable federal government contract requirements
