Job Description
The Unity Full Stack Developer will contribute to both frontend and backend development in Unity using C#, with a focus on debugging, profiling, and performance optimization. This role collaborates closely with designers and product managers and mentors junior engineers on Autonodyne LLC's unmanned vehicle projects within fast‑paced teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test Unity/C# code, fix defects, profile performance, and optimize to meet deliverables.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and subject matter experts to translate designs into functional implementations.
- Write clean, modular frontend and backend code emphasizing scalability, flexibility, and performance.
- Apply knowledge of networking and real-time communication to support system behavior.
- Demonstrate strong debugging and problem-solving skills across codebases.
- Operate both independently and as part of a team to drive end products to completion.
- Provide support for flight tests as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or a related field.
- Ability to quickly grasp and clearly communicate technical concepts.
- Proven leadership experience that supports individual growth and mentoring of less experienced team members.
- US citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.

This role will likely involve travel to customer and non-customer sites primarily in North America (10-20%), with the possibility of global travel.
Additional Considerations
- Preference for domicile near the Boston/Cambridge metro area, but non-local candidates will be considered. Relocation to the Boston area can be part of the compensation package if necessary.
- Security clearance: active or previous clearance, or the ability to be granted one, is preferred.
