Technical Software Engineer 2

Join a Software Engineering team in Warren, MI (onsite) working on application development and systems implementation initiatives. This Technical Software Engineer 2 role focuses on building and validating software that supports business needs, with opportunities to tackle sophisticated implementation projects and gain experience across large-scale systems and enterprise applications. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain business and computer application software.
• Gather and analyze system requirements, then create technical software solutions to meet those needs.
• Review enhancement requests and implement software improvements.
• Develop, modify, and perform unit testing for new and existing software programs.
• Conduct post-implementation validation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance reviews to ensure solutions perform as expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2–4 years of software engineering or software development experience.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience troubleshooting, testing, and supporting both new and legacy systems.
• Proficiency in programming, problem diagnosis, and software issue resolution.
