Job Description
CrowdStrike invites a Sr. Software Engineer to focus on the Linux sensor for Falcon Host. This hybrid role is based in Redmond, WA and includes a hybrid on-site requirement. You will design and develop server-side Linux software, collaborating with a cross-functional team across multiple locations. Responsibilities
- Architect and implement Linux software intended for server deployment
- Take ownership of features from concept through delivery
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team across multiple sites
- Diagnose and resolve customer-reported product issues in a timely manner
- Contribute to additional projects as needed
Requirements
- Proven ability to produce high-quality C or C++ code demonstrated through professional work, academic projects, or community contributions
- Experience writing product code on Linux or Unix with an emphasis on high concurrency and multi-threading
- Experience addressing high reliability requirements
- Strong focus on low-level operating characteristics such as memory usage, efficient performance, and adherence to external standards
- Experience shipping major features and releases as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration in distributed teams
- Proven track record using AI technologies to enhance decision making, streamline workflows, and boost efficiency and outcomes
