Job Description
Based in Richardson, TX, this onsite role offers an opportunity for a Senior React Native Developer to design, build, and maintain cross‑platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. The position emphasizes collaboration with backend, design, and product teams, along with technical leadership and mentoring responsibilities within Health Care Service Corporation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain high‑quality cross‑platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Collaborate closely with backend, design, and product teams to deliver integrated features.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, promoting best practices and team-wide growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 year Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience.
- Ability to sit and perform computer entry for the entire work shift, as required.
- Capacity to manage workload, multiple priorities, and conflicts with customers, employees, or managers as applicable.
- Experience in application or product feature design.
- Experience with integration technologies (Tibco, Informatica, CAS).
- Experience in service oriented architecture (SOA).
- Experience with cloud computing technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
- Experience in application configuration and rapid prototyping.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Iterative Development).
- Experience in system performance management and systems change/configuration management.
- Experience in business requirements management and strong problem solving and analytical thinking.
- Creative thinking and the ability to execute effectively.
- Travel availability up to 20%.

- Familiarity with spec driven or specification first development practices
- Experience with authentication and identity solutions (OAuth, OpenID Connect, ForgeRock)
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Jest, Detox)
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools
- Familiarity with backend services built in Spring Boot, Kotlin, or Java
- Experience with app security and secure storage best practices
