Real Time Consulting, LLC is hiring Space/Satellite Applications Systems & Software Engineers in Phoenix, AZ for onsite work.

Develop systems and/or software requirements for space and satellite applications
Perform system design and/or software development activities
Support system integration across system/software and/or hardware/software interfaces
Conduct system and/or software verification
Work across all phases of a formal product development life cycle

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering
5+ years of embedded systems and/or software experience in Space and/or Satellite Applications
Proficiency in modern programming languages, including examples: C/C++, Python/Perl, C#/Java
Experience with all phases of a formal product development life cycle
Knowledge of local and remote debugging concepts and tools
Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills
Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Willingness to learn and contribute in a multi-functional team environment

Prior experience in a rapid development environment
Experience with build, test, and/or deployment automation
Understanding of DO-178B/C, NPR7150.2, or equivalent
Project experience including safety critical systems
Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and/or time-critical applications
Experience with Single Event Upset (SEU) mitigation mechanisms
Experience with low-level software (examples: BSP, kernel/drivers, firmware)
