Software Solutions Developer

On-site Software Solutions Developer role in Fond du Lac, WI focused on designing, building, and integrating software to automate quoting, sales, and engineering workflows for playground design and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and analyze requirements for playground projects.
• Specify project requirements and translate them into actionable software solutions tailored to playground initiatives.
• Plan and develop customized software to meet the unique needs of playground projects.
• Advance EZ Design Max design software and related tooling.
• Deliver software that automates quoting, sales, and engineering processes for Playground Designers and Representative partners.
• Apply cross-functional problem solving to produce high-quality, safer, and engaging play environments worldwide.
• Software development: design, develop, and maintain applications supporting the design, manufacturing, and quality assurance of playground and outdoor recreation equipment.
• System integration: work with engineers and designers to integrate software into the manufacturing workflow.
• Automation and tools development: build automated systems to improve design and testing efficiency.
• Product safety and compliance: implement features to track and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for playground equipment.
• Data analysis and reporting: create software to collect, analyze, and visualize performance data, customer feedback, and operational metrics.
• Customization and optimization: tailor software solutions to manufacturing processes and optimize existing systems as needed.
• Collaboration: partner with hardware engineers, new product development, and playground designers to ensure software aligns with physical products.
• Support and troubleshooting: provide ongoing assistance for software-related issues in production or design workflows.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience developing software solutions.
• Experience with some of the following languages and platforms: C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Preferred but not required: MSSQL, Angular, Entity Framework, CSS / Sass, CAD skills; experience with Autodesk’s manufacturing products is a plus.
• Strong time management, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Object-oriented design skills and a professional style with a proven track record translating requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Ability to scope and develop solutions that simplify and automate manufacturing workflows.
• Capable of developing, implementing, and following company standards.
• Comfortable working in a cloud-based environment.
• Object model thinking and good teamwork and active listening abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
