Software Developer

Dassault Systèmes (SPATIAL) is hiring a Software Developer to help advance ACIS, a key component behind commercial 3D geometric modeling. The role is based in Broomfield, CO with a hybrid onsite arrangement, and focuses on building and improving modeling capabilities that support feature workflows, meshing, and CAD data preparation.

In this position, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of the ACIS 3D geometric modeling kernel, strengthening algorithms used across creation, editing, recognition, and downstream data preparation tasks. You will also work closely with other development teams around the world.

What you’ll do

• Develop and improve the ACIS product, which is central to geometric modeling software used in commercial environments.
• Enhance 3D geometric modeling algorithms involved in feature creation, feature editing, feature recognition, meshing, and CAD data preparation.
• Collaborate with development teams across locations worldwide to support shared engineering goals.

What you bring

• M.S. with 3+ years of relevant programming experience, or Ph.D. in a mathematically demanding STEM field such as Mathematics or Physics.
• Strong C++ programming skills.
• Solid object-oriented development expertise.
• Experience with testing and debugging code is an asset.
• Exceptional communication skills for presenting to diverse audiences.
• Experience working collaboratively, including code reviews and sharing best practices.
• Proven ability to drive complex objectives to completion over an extended period.

Compensation and salary transparency

• Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
• The total expected compensation range is USD $125,000 - $170,000 per year, including base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
