Software Engineer - UAS Ground Control & Autopilot Integration

Infravision is hiring a Software Engineer to work on UAS ground control and flight-side integration, building the Ground Control Station, flight controller scripts, and ArduPilot connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ground Control Station software, including the C++ core and the JavaScript/React user interface
• Author and maintain Lua scripts for payload control, mission automation, and safety logic
• Extend ArduPilot via custom firmware builds, parameter management, and feature enablement
• Implement and debug MAVLink communication between the GCS, autopilot, and onboard systems
• Build internal tooling to support flight testing and log analysis, including reproducing issues, analyzing logs, and delivering fixes

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C++ and JavaScript, with experience building UIs using React
• Experience with ArduPilot, PX4, MAVLink, or other flight software ecosystems is highly desirable
• Strong engineering fundamentals: Git, debugging, testing, and writing maintainable code
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position
