Responsibilities

• Generate and simulate operational level plans to explore feasible options for defending space assets in future scenarios
• Dynamically optimize terrestrial and space-based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness
• Strategically optimize the placement and maneuvering of satellite constellations to meet evolving priorities

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Current Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
• Position located at a facility that requires special access
• Experience developing software in Java, C++, JavaScript, or Python
• Experience with application containerization (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containerd) in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines, automated builds, and configuration tools (GitLab, ArgoCD)

Location and Work Arrangement

Onsite only: this role is based at a Lockheed Martin facility in King of Prussia, PA.

Security Clearance and Eligibility

Clearance level: TS/SCI.
Security statement: This position requires a government security clearance and requires U.S. citizenship.

Work Schedule

The position follows a 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off. Lockheed Martin also supports alternate schedules to provide flexibility, with options ranging from a standard 40-hour week to condensed schedules in addition to paid time off.
