Software Engineer L2

Jovian Concepts is hiring a Software Engineer Level 2 in Annapolis Junction, MD for an onsite role focused on building and improving a FORNSAT Dashboard prototype. The work spans the full software engineering lifecycle, from early analysis through delivery and integration, with a technical stack that includes modern web and backend technologies.

To support this mission-focused development, the position requires an active and current TS/SCI clearance along with an MD Polygraph. Experience across comparable programs and contracts is also expected, with additional emphasis on hands-on development using a React and Node/TypeScript-based environment and search and data storage technologies.

Responsibilities

• Create and enhance a FORNSAT Dashboard prototype.
• Participate in all stages of the software engineering process, including analysis, design, development, test, and integration.

Requirements

• Current and active TS/SCI Clearance with MD Polygraph required.
• 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs and contracts with similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or an alternative of 4 years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes.
• Experience using tools such as ReactJs, NodeJs, Typescript, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB, or comparable technologies.

Desired Skills
